The City of Marysville still has CHIP funds available for housing assistance to residents who qualify based on their income. These funds may be used to repair or replace your roof, update plumbing or electrical systems, or replace your heating system. Homeowners may receive a grant for up to $5,000 to make those needed but expensive repairs.

If your home is in need of major rehabilitation, you may qualify for a forgivable loan for up to $35,000 to repair or replace all major systems in the home including roof, plumbing, electrical and structural and will address lead-based paint if present. The loan is made at 0% interest and requires no monthly payments. Inspection, bidding the work to qualified contractors and project oversight are managed by CHIP consultants. You do not have to hire your own contractor.

To qualify, homes must be located within the City of Marysville and valued at less than $144,000 for all programs.
