ABOUT THE EVENT
Help us celebrate 14 years serving children in Union County. Big Brothers
Big Sisters annual fundraising event, Bowl For Kids’ Sake 2012 is just around ther corner.
DATE & TIME
Saturday, April 21, 2012 • 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (last bowlers start at 4:00
p.m.)
LOCATION
Marysville Lanes Limited—1189 Columbus Avenue
ATTENDEES
More than 250 people comprised of corporate sponsors, employees and their
families, civic and community organizations, individual supporters, staff and volunteers.
TEAM
PARTICIPATION:
Companies and organizations that would like to participate are encouraged
to establish a Company Coordinator. This person recruits colleagues to become Team Captains, who will each then
recruit four co-workers, friends, neighbors and family members to join their team. Big Brothers Big Sisters encourages
team rivalries, creative team names, coordinating team outfits and cut-throat competitions! Fun is the word of
the day on April 21st, when all teams revel in one-hour of bowling fun to celebrate their fundraising efforts.
EVENT COMPONENTS:
- Participants raise money and turn in their pledge money on event day and collect
incentive prizes.
- Bowlers enjoy an all-day roster of entertainment, including raffles, media, music
and fun!
- Hourly announcements and updates thank and recognize bowlers and sponsors who
have contributed to the event’s success.

Sponsorship opportunities are available from $150 to $1,000.

Bowl for Kids' Sake is Union County Big Brothers Big Sisters' largest annual fundraising
event. All proceeds remain in Union County. Your contribution is consistently used to support qulaity, life-changing
programs for children to be matched with responsible adult mentors to assist them in achieving their highest potential
as they grow.
Did you know it takes around $1,000 annual to support just one big-little match?
Without the funds raised each year by BFKS, these essential programs would not have the resources necessary to
take place. The programs make a significant impact on the children of Union County; however, we can't do it without
your support. BFKS is about more than just bowling... it's about people like you giving back to the children in
our area through fundraising and championing the cause!
